Biral patel

Biral Patel has been a trustee at the Thomas Edison Center at Menlo Park since September 2022. He holds a Mastes Degree in Computer Science and works at a Global Fortune 500 Organization.

He is the current President of Edison Board of Education, was first appointed in January 2021 & elected in November 2021. He is also an elected Democratic County Committeeman from Edison. He is former member of Edison Township Zoning Board and Water utility advisory committee. He is recipient of Presidents’ Silver and Gold Award for Volunteering.

Biral is very well known for leading group of volunteers for vaccination drive in 2021. His efforts were recognized by Edison Township. He comes from a strong community service and volunteer background was very active during peak of Covid-19 crisis where his efforts were recognized by Middlesex County Government for Covid-19 relief efforts for helping residents with Food, Medications, PPE etc. As a volunteer of a large global non-profit organization, he regularly participates, leads, and manages several charitable activities such as Walkathon, Blood Drives, Health Fairs, Disaster Relief Efforts etc. The will to volunteer has earned him several accolades for Volunteering and Community Service, such as Presidents Gold and Silver Award and more. He has also coached several individuals with Dale Carnegie Effective Communications and Human Relations courses.

He is also a youth basketball coach and coordinator with ETYB

Biral has also earned his Certified Board Member and Master Board Member and Certified Board Leader certifications from NJSBA this year and he is first in the Township of Edison to achieve such feat.
