We are partnering with Epicedium Paranormal to take you on a trip to "the other side". Join us for our first paranormal event, Light and Shadows, and maybe you'll have the opportunity to talk to the man himself, Thomas Edison.
Event check-in begins at 7:30pm; event is 8pm through 12am, located at the The Thomas Edison Center at Menlo Park, 37 Christie St. Edison, NJ.
Tickets are $25.00 and must be purchased in advance here.
Tickets are to be booked for a specific time slot in order to maintain a manageable sized group within the limited museum space but guests are able to access all outdoor investigation spots at any time during the event.
Bringing your own equipment is encouraged but not required. If you are interested in equipment but don’t already have, sound recorders can be purchased on amazon for relatively cheap. Bring a Flashlight!

Some Rules and Helpful Tips From Epicedium Paranormal
o Wear layers – anticipate changes in weather and being both indoors and outdoors
o Wear dark, non-transparent clothing – some equipment involves full spectrum cameras which could cause clothing to be see through
o Don’t wear any scented perfumes, colognes or lotions – Part of the investigation is sensing changes in your environment, this can include a spirit communicating through scent
o Bring a flashlight – the team recommends red flashlights as this decreases the time it takes for your eyes to adjust
o Bring an audio recorder – some phones have this app however you can also purchase relatively inexpensive digital recorders on most websites including Amazon
o Or you can download the following apps for your investigation:

o Speak at a normal level while investigating – if you speak too loudly it could interfere with your fellow investigators EVP sessions, also if you speak too softly it could be misconstrued as an EVP upon playback of your audio
o Tag any weird sounds while doing EVP sessions – if you are investigating and your stomach growls, tag it! Otherwise your fellow investigator might think it was a malevolent spirit!
o Be respectful to both the living and the dead – don’t yell, taunt, or heckle while at the event
o Bring water or other non-alcoholic beverages – please note some locations you won’t be able to bring your beverage inside, however it is a good idea to have in your car in case
o Wear comfortable shoes that you aren’t afraid to get dirty
o Don’t wear any reflective material or jewelry that could interfere with pictures or cause inadvertent light anomalies
